A rainy Saturday
Mateo, Ana and their two children have a big plan for Saturday: groceries, the park, a call to grandma. Then the rain changes the plans.

Mateo et Ana habitent à Laval avec leurs deux enfants, Gabriel et Inès. Ce samedi matin, toute la famille est dans la cuisine.
« Aujourd'hui, on va faire beaucoup de choses. D'abord, on va faire les courses. Ensuite, on va aller au parc. Et ce soir, on va appeler grand-maman. »
Gabriel n'est pas content. « Moi, je vais rester au lit. »
« Non, tu vas t'habiller et tu vas m'aider », dit Ana.
Mateo prépare le déjeuner. « Je vais faire des crêpes. Qui va mettre la table ? »
« Moi ! » crie Inès.
Après le déjeuner, ils vont à l'épicerie. Inès choisit les pommes. « On va prendre les rouges, elles sont belles. »
Ils sortent du magasin… et il pleut. Beaucoup. « Oh non ! Et le parc ? » demande Inès. « On ne va pas aller au parc aujourd'hui. Mais on va faire autre chose. »
À la maison, Mateo sort un vieux jeu de société. Ana prépare du chocolat chaud. Gabriel gagne deux fois.
Le soir, Ana ouvre son ordinateur. « Maintenant, on va appeler grand-maman. » Grand-maman apparaît sur l'écran. « Alors, qu'est-ce que vous allez faire demain ? »
Inès répond : « Demain, il va faire beau. On va aller au parc ! »
Gabriel ajoute : « Et moi, je vais encore gagner. »

Mateo and Ana live in Laval with their two children, Gabriel and Inès. This Saturday morning, the whole family is in the kitchen.
“Today, we're going to do lots of things. First, we're going to do the groceries. Then, we're going to go to the park. And tonight, we're going to call grandma.”
Gabriel is not happy. “Me, I'm going to stay in bed.”
“No, you're going to get dressed and you're going to help me,” says Ana.
Mateo makes breakfast. “I'm going to make crêpes. Who is going to set the table?”
“Me!” shouts Inès.
After breakfast, they go to the grocery store. Inès picks the apples. “We're going to take the red ones, they're pretty.”
They leave the store… and it's raining. A lot. “Oh no! What about the park?” asks Inès. “We're not going to go to the park today. But we're going to do something else.”
At home, Mateo takes out an old board game. Ana makes hot chocolate. Gabriel wins twice.
In the evening, Ana opens her laptop. “Now, we're going to call grandma.” Grandma appears on the screen. “So, what are you going to do tomorrow?”
Inès answers: “Tomorrow, the weather is going to be nice. We're going to go to the park!”
Gabriel adds: “And me, I'm going to win again.”
