Asking about a medication at the pharmacy

Situation

You go to pick up a medication prescribed by your doctor. You take the chance to ask the pharmacist your questions — that's what they're there for.

Culture note

In Quebec the pharmacist is very accessible: you can ask questions without an appointment, and they know medications and their interactions well. Always tell them what else you take.
