Situation

You're looking for an apartment and you call about a listing. Beginner version: a simple call to arrange a viewing.

Culture note

In Quebec, apartments are described in "rooms and a half": a 3½ has a living room, kitchen and bedroom (the half is the bathroom). "Heating included" is an important detail, especially in winter. July 1st is the traditional moving day.
